
It's more for button layout support than specific pad support though. There's a list of pads/controllers on their site HERE, but also in the readme file if I remember correctly. joysticktype x (where x is the number for the pad/controller type) Also, speaking of which, if you intend to play with a pad you can override what pad "type" you want, by using the command line switch: Thing about LA Noire is that it ALWAYS tries to load game controllers, or rather the first one it sees, and it defaults to a certain "type" when it finds one not in it's list. Even if you plug those controllers back in it shouldn't try to load them next time.


Then start up the game, and disable controller support. The best thing to do, would be to delete the config file that has your settings saved (user folder, My Documents, Rockstar, LA Noire, settings.ini or it might just say Settings), and disconnect all controllers except the mouse and keyboard.
